Alex Brown is a senior basketball analyst for Pro Insight. In his current role, he is responsible for covering top grassroots and college basketball events both around the country and regionally, as well as leading P.I’s NBA Draft coverage. Alex also interviews top prospects as part of Pro Insight’s Q&A series. He further identifies and analyzes players for Pro Insight’s database, as well as assists in maintaining the database and breaking down game film. He previously held the role of basketball analyst for Pro Insight.

For the past two seasons, Alex has been active in covering some of the top grassroots events in the country, including but not limited to the NBA Academy Games, Nike EYBL, Adidas 3SSB, UAA, Pro16, GEICO National Championship, Overtime Elite, and NCAA Academy, as well as high school basketball in the Midwest. He is also active in covering NCAA basketball in the Midwest, namely the B1G. 

During his time as a student at Florida Gulf Coast University, Alex created a website centered around deep dive written and video scouting reports on NBA Draft and internationally bound professional prospects. He also completed internships with Sports Info Solutions and FGCU Athletics before graduating with honors in 2021. 

Alex is based out of Chicago, Illinois.
